I'm a software developer with 6+ years of experience and a BSc in Audio Technology. My signal-processing background gives me a unique perspective on image analysis — understanding how to extract clean data from noisy input is at the core of what makes FreeSVGConverter produce better results than the competition.
I built FreeSVGConverter because every existing option was either buried in ads, produced low-quality output, or charged subscription fees for mediocre results. I wanted a tool that just works — professional quality, fair pricing, no nonsense.
I've shipped dozens of web applications over my career, including imgbolt.com. FreeSVGConverter is operated by my company, Known by One LLC, registered in Delaware.
Why I Built This
In 2024, I needed to vectorize a batch of images for a client project. I tried every converter I could find — and they were all terrible. Popup ads, fake "processing" spinners that just wanted you to sign up, watermarked output, and results that looked worse than the original.
So I built my own. I integrated state-of-the-art AI models, optimized the conversion pipeline, and created a clean interface that gets out of your way. The result is a tool that produces genuinely professional SVG output from raster images — the kind of quality that designers and print shops actually need.
Today, FreeSVGConverter has processed thousands of conversions for designers, developers, Etsy sellers, print shops, and businesses worldwide. I continue to actively develop and improve the platform.
