Plan the Final Size
Small text and narrow gaps may not sew cleanly. Decide the physical size before a digitizer builds stitches.
Review Colors
Traced fills are visual references, not thread specifications. Match thread colors separately in the production workflow.

Vector artwork can make the digitizer's source easier to edit, but stitch quality comes from the digitizing and production process. Complete these checks after tracing.

- 2Confirm the final physical dimensions before digitizing; resizing later can change stitch density and behavior.
- 3Choose stitch types, directions, sequence, underlay, density, pull compensation, trims, and color changes in embroidery software.
- 4Match stabilizer, needle, thread, hooping, and settings to the exact fabric and machine.
- 5Run a supervised sew-out on comparable material and revise the digitized file before production.
