Can an embroidery machine use SVG directly?

Generally, an embroidery machine needs a digitized stitch format supported by that machine. SVG contains visual paths, not stitch commands. Use digitizing software or a qualified digitizer to create the machine file.

Does vectorizing a logo digitize it?

No. Vectorization creates editable shapes. Digitizing chooses stitch types, directions, density, sequence, underlay, trims, compensation, and other embroidery-specific parameters.

Will the traced artwork preserve small lettering?

Not necessarily. Tracing can alter small details, and some details may be unsuitable for thread at the target size. Inspect the SVG and simplify or redraw important lettering before digitizing.

Can I resize the SVG for different embroidery sizes?

SVG paths resize without pixelation, but embroidery parameters do not scale automatically. A digitized design may need to be rebuilt or adjusted for a materially different physical size.

Can I sell products made from the output?
