Does the tracer create color separations?

No. It can create paths that resemble visible color regions, but those regions are not validated spot-color separations. Check overlaps, knockouts, overprints, color count, and ink assignments in separation software before output.

Will it add trapping or registration marks?

No. Trapping, choke, spread, and registration marks depend on the artwork, press, substrate, ink system, separation method, and shop workflow. Create them to the print provider’s current specifications and verify the separated output.

Does the SVG include an underbase for dark garments?

No. An underbase must be generated and adjusted for the artwork, garment color, substrate, ink opacity, flash sequence, and shop process. Confirm choke, coverage, and print order with the printer and test the job.

What about halftones and gradients?

Tracing may turn tonal changes into bands or many vector shapes; it does not create a validated halftone separation. Halftone frequency, angle, dot shape, tonal range, and output method must match the mesh, stencil, ink, substrate, RIP, and printer specifications.

Which image formats can I upload?

The supported raster inputs are PNG, JPG, WebP, and AVIF. Layered print files, native design files, PDFs, and existing separation files are not supported tracing inputs.
